Is it possible to use a golf bag as a backpack?

Do you think it is possible to use a golf bag as a regular backpack, to hold some books, possibly some clothes, and what have you.

I don’t have any experience with golf bags whatsoever but was just curious as to whether they could be substituted as a regular backpack, and if so, how practical or impractical that would be.
Cheers and thanks.

The club holes out and would spill out just get backpack or duffell.
An average bag even when you take the bottom plus lot of them have no top so your stuff would spill out just get backpack or duffell.
