Is it OK to have regular shafted irons with a stiff shafted driver in my golf bag?

I use Tommy Armour 845 irons with regular shafts. I was looking to buy a TaylorMade Burner with a stiff shaft. I seem to swing my driver a lot faster than I would my irons. I heard that it’s bad to mismatch shaft stiffnesses. Is this true?

The result you distance and accuracy that should be your goaldont be afraid to experiment.
