Is it bad to use the golf bag rain hood all the time?

I want to use the rain hood so my clubs dont go sliding around in the car trunk, so I’d basically never take it off when I use the bag. Is this going to be an issue of wear?

It doesn’t really matter. However, you will look “different” (like a beginner) on the course. Don’t worry about wear if you take golf seriously you will be switching clubs (before they “wear” out) to find the perfect set. :-)
