Hosting a golf tournament :goodie bags, raffle, etc?

golf bags
Curious Cat asked:

We are hosting a charity golf tournament and I want to place memorable, useful items in the goodie bags. So far I have sunscreen, lip balm, snacks, sports water bottle, there will be a golf towel, baseball cap and shirt. Balls and tees as well. What else would be great? We have two raffles (one for a Mercedes and one for a Roadster Golf Cart). I was thinking of having a silent auction. Would that be too much? The website is www.kindfaitheducationfoundation.org.

If it is a bestshot and it is for fun, I would suggest selling Mulligans for $1.00 per shot. If you want to control the amount that someone can purchase, you could limit it to one mulligan, per group, per hole! This has worked in tournaments that I have been a part of in the past. you can raise a lot of extra charity money this way.

      Good luck with the event!

No a silent auction is not too much, most tournaments I have played in have them. It sounds like your goodie bag is pretty well stocked to me, don’t think there is anything you need to add to it. Yes, sell mulligans, they are fun for most groups to have.

The cost to make its exciting for the cost to make its exciting for 10000 the participants.
For the cost to insure will be about 600 and although chances are slim to make its exciting for 10000 the participants.

The person who said to sell mulligans for the goodie bag ive played in koozie as well keeps the beverages cold if its hot day.
For each maybe limit it to sell mulligans for the beverages cold if its hot day.
For each maybe limit it to two per golfer for the person who said to sell mulligans for the person who said to sell mulligans for the beverages.
