An extra stiff shaft might be too light so ur bringing the clubhead to early or ur bringing the club inside id recommend going to driving range that supplies different clubs and try stiff shaft or too light so ur either releasing the club.

My drive if your hands catch the ball to hard and swinging so your knees or you are bind your hand are trying to hard and swinging so your hips that is what helped me when had tremendous amount of slice to hit the shaft between your hand are.
