I saw 3 Nike ones but they were called “travel” golf bags, no clue what that means. Please let me know some good brand name ones. I’d like to get my fiance a new one for Christmas but have no clue what kind he has now, it looks ratty so it’s time. Please let me know what you think. Thanks guys
I’d also like to ask are they supposed to have “stands” on them it says “stand bag” and there is a metal piece sticking out. Sorry I’m clueless here.
I’d also like to add, I want him to have the very best one, nothing cheap and crappy.

When you choose a golf club, you need to consider your needs. With cart golf bags you can conserve most of your energy for the game since you won’t need to be carrying it. But despite this you still need to check if you could at least carry the cart bag when loaded for you will be carrying it from your car to the golf cart and vice versa. If you have caddie when you play you can opt for either the carry bag or stand bag. If you will be carrying it yourself check if it is comfortable to carry. But nowadays there are a lot of very light weight carry golf bags.

The golf bag has truly evolved through the years with you being able to customize it to suit your style. They even come with accessories like umbrella, rainwear and golf gloves. For women, you can even have matching handbags with it. Whatever be the golf bag that you will be selecting, just make sure that it meets your needs and budget.

It is not necessary to buy the most expensive bag available, as they do not directly affect the way you play, unlike your clubs, balls and golf shoes. You should carefully assess if the bag you are planning to buy has all the features that will suit your needs, while still being reasonably priced.
